Returns Policy
Jewellery should be of satisfactory quality, fit for its purpose and as described. The advantage about buying direct from a shop is that you have an opportunity to inspect the item for any faults, marks or imperfections prior to purchase.
All new jewellery sold by Bowjangles Midlands Ltd comply with the customers’ statutory rights, these being that the goods should be of satisfactory quality, a quality and standard that would reasonably be expected taking into account the price paid and the description. The quality of the goods will include freedom from minor defects, durability, safety, appearance and finish.
All refunds and exchanges require proof of purchase – this being the original receipt. (We do not accept photos of receipts or bank statements as proof of purchase)
All new goods are recorded on receipt issued with product code starting NS.
If jewellery has quality inspection tabs on and they are removed the jewellery is then non exchangeable even within the 14 day exchange period.
Pierced Jewellery; In the interest of hygiene and for the protection of all our customers, earrings and pierced jewellery are excluded from our exchange and refund policy. This exclusion arises from a health and safety consideration and to prevent the spread of infections. This exclusion is in the interest of hygiene and for the protection of all our customers. This does not affect your right to return earrings for a refund/exchange /replacement if they are found to be faulty.
All second-hand goods are sold as seen. We have no control over the manufacturing process of these products and try at all times to identify the best of quality items, and we have no knowledge of the past usage of the items. If a problem arises with a product sold as second hand the cost to repair will be liable by the customer not Bowjangles Midland Ltd.
Prices for any repairs are provided in good faith based on initial inspection of the jewellery. In some cases, we may encounter unforeseeable problems once we begin work on the jewellery which could make the repair more expensive or impossible. In this case we will contact you without delay to agree a mutually acceptable way forward
Exchanges must be requested within 14 days from the date of sale with original receipt. Goods may be exchanged for items of equal value providing that they are in their original packaging and remain unworn with any tags.
Exchanges must be like for like – New Jewellery for New Jewellery, Second Hand Jewellery for Second Hand Jewellery, Diamond for Diamond, Gold for Gold, Watch for Watch.
Statutory Rights apply when a product is deemed faulty within the legal time frame. Refunds will be issued after inspection of goods; this can take up to 5 working days.
